Donovan Menard is a filmmaker based in the New York City area. He graduated from Tufts University in 2023 with a BA in Film and Media Studies, and minored in Music and Political Science.

Since middle school, Donovan has enjoyed making videos with his friends as a hobby, and has developed his skills by filming and editing documentaries, comedy sketches, campaign ads, live performances, music videos, and narrative short films. At Tufts, he helped out on several senior thesis films as an assistant director, producer, sound mixer, and script supervisor. He also wrote, directed, edited, and created music for his own senior thesis film, The Path of Most Resistance, and received Highest Honors from the Tufts Film Department. His thesis film was awarded Best Dark Comedy Film at the New York International Film Awards in February 2024. Since graduating, Donovan has been doing freelance work as a production assistant, videographer, and editor.
